KCT FAMILY ENROLLMENT

Kids Coop Theatre, Inc. (“KCT”) is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation dedicated to providing high-quality theatre experiences for young people and families. Theatre draws-out a child’s talents and gifts and builds confidence, character, and a sense of team responsibility. Founded in 1997, KCT has produced over 38 shows involving hundreds of kids and enjoyed by thousands!

The purpose of enrollment is to maintain a current list of families who wish to participate in our shows. Enrollments run from July 1 to June 30 each year and cost just $20 per year (all enrollments expire on June 30 regardless of start date). Only enrolled families receive casting notices for our shows (via e-mail) and only enrolled family members may be cast. In some cases, more actors will seek to be part of the cast than the production will allow. In that case, a lottery for available casting slots is sometimes required; our policy is that all children enrolled will be offered the opportunity to be cast in at least one of the current season's productions.

Founded in 1997, Kids Coop Theatre is one of New Hampshire's leading community theatre companies. In addition to opportunities to perform in quality productions, our charter is to provide children and teens with instruction, encouragement, and development in the performing arts. We also emphasize (and require) the active participation of parents and other adult volunteers as part of our production teams. Our company has a strong Board of Directors, solid finances, and the production experience of 38+ high-quality performances.

Auditions

KCT does not conduct “cattle call” auditions. All children who are who receive a casting notification are automatically cast in the show. Only the role they get will be decided by the audition. If the response for casting slots is greater than the Director determined cast size for the show we will apply a proprietary selection process so that each productions casting needs are properly addressed.
